The City of Archdale is working to improve walking conditions to connect people to where they live, work, play and learn. The Archdale Pedestrian & Trail Master Plan will outline strategies that aim to improve safety, mobility, health, and economic growth in our community.
The City of Archdale in conjunction with the High Point Area MPO, have hired Alta Planning + Design, a national bicycle and planning firm, to prepare comprehensive Archdale Pedestrian & Trail Master Plan.
The plan will include a robust public engagement process, a thorough evaluation of the existing walking and trail network, a prioritization process, and new tools for implementation. The plan will be comprehensive in nature, addressing sidewalk and trail infrastructure, program, and policy needs.

Review the Draft Plan!
This planning process depends on your input. The full draft plan is available for public comment until Friday, October 12th. Take a look and share your ideas on draft policy, program, sidewalk and trail recommendations under the “Share Your Ideas” link below, or by dropping a comment into the box at City Hall.
