The Archdale Senior Center is a community focal point for older adults. Belonging to the Randolph County Senior Adults Association, the Center provides a Fellowship Lunch daily for seniors age 60 and over. Activities offered at the Center include crafts, music, bingo, card games, bowling, jeopardy, birthday parties, exercise, shuffleboard, horseshoes, butterbean auction, movies, Senior Games, tax aid, blood pressure checks and a weekly Breakfast Club.
In addition, the Center has 4 Meals-On-Wheels routes that take a hot lunch to homebound seniors. The Archdale Senior Center is also able to access other services through our Asheboro office. These include: legal aid, operation fan relief, medication assistance, day trips, bus tours and much, much more.
Everyone is welcome to come and see the fun to be had at the Senior Center and to enjoy a hot, nutritious lunch.
Volunteers are always needed to run a Meals-On-Wheels route. Each route is about an hour and you can volunteer as much as you want or just one day a month.
